Ki Awareness:

Flowing Mindfully

.Ki Awareness is about rediscovering your natural flow—where mind, body, and energy move as one. It is a way of moving, thinking, and being—one that cultivates relaxation, harmony, and inner strength in all aspects of life.

Through guided exercises and principles, Ki Awareness helps you:

More than a practice, Ki Awareness is a way to engage with yourself and the world with greater presence and authenticity. Whether in daily interactions, personal growth, or movement, it offers a pathway to deeper connection, calm, and strength.

A typical Ki Awareness class:

Through breathwork, gentle movements, and mindful exploration, we discover new ways of being—ways that bring greater happiness, positivity, and an openness to embracing the world around us.

When starting, keep in mind: Think, Feel, Do.

This represents:

  • Think – the mind, cultivating peace of mind

  • Feel – the heart, embracing love

  • Do – the body, moving with harmony

When we struggle to find this balance, we can call upon the Four Principles for Harmonizing the Mind and Body:

  • Concentrate on your central point of gravity

  • Surrender completely, letting go

  • Move naturally

  • Maintain a positive mindset

Influential teachers:

The ideas and concepts originate from the following influential teachers:

  • Nakumura Tempu {1876-1968} – the founder of Shin-ShinToho-isu-den

  • O’Sensei (Morrahi Ushiba {1883-1969} – the founder of Aikido)

  • Sensei Ken Williams (The founder of The Ki Federation of Great Britain)

  • Greggory Williams (Author of Awaken Qi Within and the creator of The Qi Arts)

A common thread among these teachings is the cultivation of energy—Qi or Ki—to enrich our daily lives. In Ki Awareness, there’s no right or wrong—only opportunities for learning, discovery, and countless “ah-ha” moments. These exercises reveal the incredible power within us all: the power of lightness, positive focus and infinite possibilities.

Inspiration behind the Logo:
The logo symbolizes the balance between the infinite mind and the limited body. When these two come together, they open the doorway to an energetic realm of potential and transformation—guiding us on a beautiful journey of self-discovery and empowerment.

In 2025, I will release short videos exploring insights from each class. For those interested, weekly classes are held in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Future plans include teaching at retreats and workshops.
